16. The Cabinet had before them
raphrase telegram
from the Governor of Hong Kong to the Fearet ry of
State for the Colonies, dated July 28th, and sirmented
to the Cabinet on the "revious day, dealing with the
proposal for a Cormission of Inuiry into the Shaween
incident of June 23rd, 1925, and the draft reply to the
Governor, which had heen agreed by the Secretary of
Stute for Foreign Affairs ard the Secretary of State
for the Colonies.
The Cabinet agreed
To prove the draft rerly to the Governor
of Hong Kong, as circulated to the Cabinet
on the rrevious day.
